TURKEY POT PIE -- THE ULTIMATE

POST-HOLIDAY COMFORT FOOD

A bubbling hot turkey pot pie has to be the ultimate comfort food. Plus, a great way to put all those Thanksgiving leftovers to deliciously good use.

What You'll Need:

2 cups cut-up leftover turkey

2 cups leftover veggies (except mashed items)

2½ cups gravy

¼ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 (15 ounce) package refrigerated folded pie crusts

        (2 crusts in package)

What To Do:

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.

In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the pie crust and mix well. Unfold one pie crust and place in a 9-inch deep pie plate, pressing crust firmly into the plate. Spoon turkey mixture into crust.

Unfold second crust and place over turkey mixture. Pinch crusts together to seal. Cut four 1-inch slits across the top and bake 40-45 minutes until heated through and crust is golden.

Allow to sit for ten minutes, then serve and be truly thankful for leftovers!

 THE PERFECT WHITE SHIRT

With the culture of the tie on the decline,

a man's humble white shirt has become even

more important than ever.

The male equivalent of the Little Black Dress,

a white shirt is essential. When choosing one,

a good cotton fabric is the best choice. But not so

sheer that you can see the skin underneath.

Next, when the shirt is worn open at the neck, it

should fasten close to the collarbone. The collar

spread shouldn't be so wide that its tips hit the

line of the suit jacket--otherwise known as the

Saturday Night Fever effect.

As with the aforementioned Little Black Dress, the available white shirt options are vast. And that's fortunate since a well-chosen, appropriately fitting white shirt is a must-have choice for any man wanting to create a correct and lasting impression--with or without a tie.
