In The Lens
A LOST APOLLO 11 DOCUMENTARY LANDS IN FRENCH THEATRES

The 1970 NASA-produced "Moonwalk One" was never distributed in the United States. released in France this summer, the official NASA-funded Apollo 11 documentary is finally resurfacing in French theatres after a nearly 45 year absence. Shot and edited by New York filmmaker-artist Theo Kamecke, "Moonwalk" is a gripping time capsule that details the world's most famous space mission, where astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin orbited into history by being the first humans to ever land on the moon.

Strangely enough, "Moonwalk" has never been seen by a widespread audience and in 2007 it was uncovered by the UK outfit The Attic Room. They tracked down Karmecke in upstate New York and found he held the only remaining 35 mm print. The film only reached screens when the indie French company, ED Distribution gave it a theatrical release this summer.

Beyond the thrilling space footage, the film also features plenty of behind-the-scenes action that reveals some of the unknown faces behind the projects including the technicians who helped design Apollo's dauntingly complex structure and the handful of expert seamstresses who stitched together the astronauts' spacesuits.

"Moonwalk One" is an amibitious attempt to capture the unheralded sides of an historical moment without 3-D or CGI, highlighting the gravity of reality itself.
CHARLIE HUNNAM CIRCLING
KING ARTHUR ROLE IN
"KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE"

It looks like Charlie Hunnam is already lining up his next project. The actor is circling the lead role in Guy Ritchie's King Arthur project, "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur.

The project is a reimagining of the story of King Arthur and his legendary knights in the kingdom of Camelot.

If Hunnam signs on, it will be a reunion for the star with his "Pacific Rim" co-star Idris Elba. The actor is in talks to play Bedivere, Arthur's father's right-hand man who will teach Arthur how to lead an army.

Hunam has starred on FX's biker drama "Sons of Anarchy" since 2008. The show will end after its seventh season which begins airing in September. Hunnam's recet film projects have included the robot- versus-monster film and the upcoming "Crimson Peak".

The actor was at one time attached to to star in "Fifty Shades of Grey" but ended up leaving the project.

RALPH LAUREN INTRODUCES
WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY

Ball boys at the current US Open Tennis Tournament (August 25th to September 8th) tried out---in full view of fans around the globe---a sexy nylon T shirt that marks Ralph Lauren's entry into the rapidly advancing world of wearable technology.

What spectators have seen at the Open is a slick, form-fitting black athletic shirt, the Ralph Lauren polo pony emblazoned on the front. What they won't see is the conductive silver-coated thread that is woven discreetly into the fiber, one that---according to the company, makes the shirt the first item of tech apparel to be introduced by a mainstream fashion label.

While the shirt won't answer a smartphone, fire ignitions or secure a date for the wearer, what it will do---among its varied functions---is monitor your heart rate, breathing and stress levels. The collected data is displayed on a dashboard, phone app or computer screen.

All without compromising its racy good looks. That is, no distracting hardware. Not a disk, wire or tube in sight. You're just putting on a shirt.

SNIFFING OUT THE
PERFECT ENVIORNMENT

Creating, quite literally, the perfect proprietory fragrance is the latest scentsory indulgence of luxury interior designers. And no, we don't mean fragrance candles and room sprays

Big name designers of super-luxe dwellings are no longer satisfied with providing clients with original artwork, bespoke chandeliers and hand woven carpeting. The newest item on the Interior designer's punch list is; what should the place smell like?

Developers are getting increasingly sophisticated in their indulgence of the olfactory. Increasingly, They are offering clients an opportunity to translate their individuality into scent by creating their ownpersonal in-home fragrances.

As Sue Phillips, the innovative fragrance designer who heads up the New York City firm Scenterprises, describes it, "Smell is our most powerful link to emotion and memory. When you infuse a space with the personal fragrance of the person who lives there, you add an important dimension.

We choose perfumes we wear to suit our personalities. Why not use scents as a subtle way to send our own environmental aesthetic message?"
