"ST. VINCENT": BILL MURRAY AND MELISSA MC CARTHY RAISE A CHILD

Opening October 24th, Naomi Watts, Terrence Howard and Chris O'Dowd co-star in the comedy about a cranky war vet taking care of his neighbor's son.



Murray plays the eponymous Vincent, a cantakerous war veteran who bonds with his neighbor Maggie's (McCarthy) young son Oliver (newcomer Jaeden Lieberher). Needless to say, Maggie isn't too thrilled when Vincent shows Oliver how to throw a punch and introduces him to his Russian prostitute companion.

Needless to say, Vincent has some issues with nothing left in his bank account as he walks around---sometimes drunk---with a mysterious head wound.

Buzz is building for the film which also stars Chris O'Dowd and Naomi Watts as a pregnant stripper.
DANNY GLOVER BOARDS CANADIAN INDIE "GRIDLOCKED"


The "Lethal Weapon" star is to play a police chief in the action thriller by director Allan Unger.



Glover will play police chief Sully in the indie film where "Prison Break"s Dominic Purcell plays a former SWAT leader who is being shadowed by an arrogant movie star played by Cody Hackman.



Together they must organize the survivors of an attack on a training facility and fight back against a team of mercenaries.

"Gridlocked" begins shooting on July 7th in Toronto and London Ontario.

HIGHLANDER: THE FORMER FORBES SUPER-YACHT IS READY FOR CHARTER

Robert DeNiro, Ronald Reagan, Baroness Margaret Thatcher, Elizabeth Taylor and Sir Mick Jagger all gathered on the Forbes family's super-yacht. Now the Highlander is ready to accept new guests.



Built for Malcolm Forbes, the editor-in-chief of Forbes Magazine in 1986, for nearly 25 years, the yacht provided hospitality to the great and good as it plied the US east coast. Recently acquired by Robert deGardiola, an American financier, it is now available to charter for the first time.



The 162-foot vessal accommodates 12 guests and 11 crew members is currently based in the South of France. Amenities includea Jacuzzi, gym and helipad. Inside, pop art lines the walls of ample entertainment spaces. Described as glamour personified, the yacht was an iconic location for the world's greatest power brokers and celebrities.



Reason enough for charter. But people will be attracted by Highlander's extensive facilities. Anyone with the means to do so may charter the yacht for $150 thousand a week and entertain just like Forbes did.

Who knew the selfies would come in so handy? In this case, they landed aspiring models a gig with Marc Jacobs.

Unlike past Marc By Marc Jacobs campaigns, the brand's Fall 2014 ads won't feature any famous faces such as the Fanning Sisters or M.I.A. who have previously appeared. Instead, the label's latest campaign features a cast of real people found through social media.

In April, Marc Jacobs and the brand's stylist asked Instagram and Twitter users to submit photos if themselves using the #CastMeMarc hashtag. The company received over 70,000 entries. Subsequently, the brand narrowed it down to 30 finalists who were then flown to New York City. Out of that group, nine models were photographed by David Sims in May.



"It seemed like a great idea to me, as casting through Instagram seemed cool, current and strong", Jacobs commented. "We wanted the ads to shout with youth and energy...to be fresh". The ads will appear in Teen Vogue's August 2014 issue.

Before starting work on the designs, Hopper referred to the original band to help with her creativity process. "A lot of the research came from the different album covers from The Four Seasons which always showed pictures of the four guys". A few key pieces she designed include a '70's corduroy suit that the real Frankie Valli used to wear to the studio, the burgundy blazers that the boys wear during the American Bandstand performance---and every single bow tie.

Hopper also did research at the Western Costume Company's library as well. Not only did the legendary costume company located in North Hollywood help with Hopper's research, they also provided one of the most popular garments in the film: classic cardigans reminiscent of he '50's and '60's.

Since she's been collaborating with Eastwood for more than two decades, Deborah Hopper didn't have any trouble getting his approval on the costumes. Given that Eastwood wore the group's maroon jacket to the film's premiere during the L.A. Film Festival, it's apparent he agrees with her choices.
